Q. I already have a loyalty tag from a Supermarket or Drugstore and it has an address to return a lost item. Why do I need your service?
A. The Supermarket or Drugstore that has a return address on their loyalty tag is not in the lost and found business. How long do you think it will take to get your keys back? A week? Two weeks? Since this is our only business we will return your items by verifying your address, notifying you and sending them back fast. If you have any of these, simply take a permanent marker and cross out the return address so our tag will be the only one with a return address.
Q. How much does it costs to get an item back?
A. Nothing! Once you purchase a package there are no return fees or shipping fees. You get the item back for free!
Q. Your service sounds too good to be true. Is it?
A. No, it is a simple answer to a common and everyday problem. People lose expensive items all the time and we are in business to help them get them back.
Q. What kinds of items can I use your service for?
A. We cover small personal items such as keys, cell phone, MP3 player, iPod, Blackberrys, digital cameras, portable video systems, flash drives, planners, portable voice recorders, portable radios, CD players, PDAs. We cover any item that is generally less one pound althought there could be exceptions. We also decided that most people lose these smaller items as opposed to larger ones and that is where we positioned our business. If you are in doubtabout an item, please give us a call and we'll let you know if we can cover it.
Q. Can I just order a few tags and if an item gets lost pay you to return it?
A. No, you must order a package first then order additional tags and tags. Considering the value of things they will protect, the cost is really minimal. You could spend more on one meal at a decent restaurant than the cost of one year of service.
Q. Do you give my personal information to any mailing lists?
A. No, your information is for our use only and only to contact you if an item Is lost and returned to our PO Box. We will never sell your personal information to anyone.
Q. Can I give a tag to another member of my family?
A. As long as they live at the same address. Each account requires one unique address. You cannot have tags purchased from one account going to different addresses. If you need a different address, just purchase another package.
Q. Who can benefit from your service?
A. Anyone who owns keys, a cell phone, mp3 player, and camera would be an ideal candidate. Students away at school would not have to worry about losing their stuff. Businesses who give their employees cell phones or keys or id tags would benefit greatly from our service.
Q. How much does your service cost?
A. Unlike other companies out there our pricing is very simple. There are three coverage plans for consumers: a one year plan that costs $34.95, a two year plan that costs $49.95 and a three year plan that costs $69.95. All plans include two key tags and two tags, free return of your items and free return shipping by first class mail. The only difference is the length of time that you are covered. Additional key tags and asset tags can be purchased for $5.95 each. Renewals are priced at $24.95 for one year, $34.95 for two years and $49.95 for three years. Business, schools, non-profiut and government customers please call for pricing.
Q. What happens if my coverage lapses and I lose and item?
A. If an item is returned to and your account is not current in order to get the item back you will notified and will have to buy at least a one year renewal to get your item back.
Q. What happens if my tags break or become unusable?
A. If a tag breaks or otherwise becomes unusable all you need to do is to send us back the damaged tag and we will send you a new one for free. Sorry but we must have the tag back to issue a new one.
Q. What happens if I lose and item and you don't get it back?
A. If an item is lost and the finder does not follow the instructions printed on the tags then you will need to purchase a new tag if you decide to replace that item.
Q. Do I have to register my items or activate tags?
A. Registration is totally up to you. You can sign on to your account or call and register the items you put our tags and tags on. Registration is not required. Once your account is active the tags that went along with it are also activated.
Q. What do I have to do when I lose and item?
A. You can report a lost item on our website or call us and report it but again it is not required. If you do report it we can keep a look out for it but other than that you don’t have to do anything.
Q. How much is shipping cost to get my item back?
A. Shipping for a returned item is always free.
Q. Does your service work outside the United States?
A. Sorry, as of now we only can return items within the US. Items lost internationally would incur additional charges and we may look to include those in the future.
Q. Can I give your package as a gift?
A. Our service makes a great gift! Just specify gift on the order form and we will include a card where the recipient can send in that includes their contact data or a website address with a temporary customer number and password where they can go online and change it.
